Medical Missions Outreach Initiative
A free healthcare program for our community
The HHCR Medical Missions Initiative is an outreach program that is focused on helping the sick and hurting children of the Philippines. We send out our team of healthcare professionals to go aid the communities that are in immediate need of medical attention.
Happy Horizons Academy
Free education program
Happy Horizons Academy is the on campus ranch that 49 children are currently attending. Every child at the academy receives a high-quality, Christian based education that prepares them for college.
College Scholarship Program
[Update: This program has re-designed to help our kids complete the new national requirements of High School before they continue to college.]
Designed for our high school graduates
Many of our students from Happy Horizons Academy have dreams to go to college. Our college scholarship program provides these students with the funds to pursue their dream career.
Alumni In Defense
[Update: This program has been placed on hold. But we hope to resume this vital ministry soon!]
Safety & prevention program
Alumni in Defense is a ministry dedicated to the prevention of human trafficking. Alumni of Happy Horizons go into the community and reach out to the young girls who are at risk of human trafficking.
The Safe House
Happy Horizons' safe house helps newly rescued girls transition into a protected environment. Once the girls are emotionally and medically stable, they are then relocated to the Ranch for long-term care.
The safe house is also where some of our older girls live while transitioning out of HHCR's care, to become independent adults.
The Ranch
Perhaps the most important step in the arduous journey from despair to self-sufficiency involves residency in the Children’s Ranch where children and young ladies are nurtured by a carefully chosen team of counselors who try to replicate a positive family environment. It is in such a setting that children learn to bond with a surrogate family while pursuing further educational or professional opportunities. The children remain on the Ranch until their eighteenth birthday or until they have completed their education. When the children leave the home as young adults, they have vocational and life skills indispensable for independent living. They are then encouraged to pursue formal education or more advanced job training.
We will always continue to provide assistance and be a support system for the young men and women as they leave us and will be there to guide them as they tread through life. We are passionate about these kids and wish to provide them with the most opportunity to pursue their goals in life.
